Esperança’s journey through textiles began with over 20 years of experience in the industry. While all areas of textiles are fascinating, she found her greatest passion and gained her most valuable insights in home textiles. With a focus on high-quality standards and innovative designs, Esperança has built a strong reputation for her sourcing expertise. She has collaborated with a diverse range of clients, from global brands to niche retailers, delivering a portfolio of over 500 products across various categories.
Esperança began her sourcing journey as buying agent in 2014. With the invaluable encouragement of her former employer, the leading agency in Portugal, Esperança embarked on her sourcing journey with her first client, the beloved curated brand Hawkins New York.
In 2017, with a strong partnership with her first client, Esperança officially established her dedicated agency. This new venture presented exciting challenges and opportunities, leading her to expand her client base to include large retail channels in the United Kingdom and wholesalers in the United States.
In 2021, when the world seemed to be at its most uncertain, Esperança refused to let challenges define their company. Despite the difficulties, they saw an opportunity for growth. A relentless pursuit of knowledge led them to invest in a postgraduate degree in Branding, setting the stage for a brighter future. Today, Espleite stands as a testament to their resilience and unwavering commitment to providing exceptional products and services.
